You can try our Basic pricing plan for a period of one month, during which we will waive the standing charge. At the end of that month, you will only be billed for any shipping labels you have created through shipcloud. You will therefore be required to enter your payment details before starting your subscription.
If you decide to upgrade to another pricing plan during this initial one-month period, you will also be billed for the new standing charge. If you do not upgrade during the first month, your Basic pricing plan will automatically continue with a payable standing charge unless you cancel your account.
If you are a developer and you wish to test our service in more detail without creating shipping labels, then our free and unlimited Developer plan is the choice for you. Simply register today and receive direct access to our sandbox. For more information, please go to the shipcloud developer portal.
The usage fee is billed monthly by the chosen payment method. The date
of the invoice is the first day of a calendar month. In the first
fee-based contractual month, the invoice is created immediately after
your registration respectively after expiry of the free trial period.
Withal, this invoice includes the prorata costs for the remainder of
the first fee-based calender month.
The costs for shipping labels are billed according to consumption, yet usually monthly. If you make payments for shipping labels directly to your chosen carriers, you will continue to be billed directly by them for any labels you use.
In addition to the monthly standing charge for your chosen pricing plan, you will also be charged for any shipping labels you create — unless you have a direct account with the carriers you use. Shipping charges vary from carrier to carrier and can be viewed on your shipcloud dashboard. Unfortunately, we are unable to publish charges on our website.

We accept all major credit cards used in Germany (MasterCard and Visa) and PayPal.
After the first 30 days, you can cancel your shipcloud plan at the end of the contractual period. Please note that special rules apply when upgrading or downgrading your plan (see next question).
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Each pricing plan is valid for one month. All upgrades are active from the time of purchase. You will also receive a credit for any time remaining on your previous billing period. This credit will be deducted from the first month's payment for the new billing period. If you downgrade your pricing plan, your new plan will become active at the end of the current billing period. For example, if you started your current pricing plan on the 15th day of a particular month, your downgraded plan will become active on the 15th day of the following month.
Each request you make to the shipcloud interface counts as a single API request. Our limits are based on average usage and are rarely exceeded.
